Jane Eberhardt, a native of Seattle, Washington, earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from William Smith College and master's degree in education from Gratz College. She has devoted more than 17 years to teaching, mostly fifth-grade language arts and history, in Chester Township, New Jersey. Her move to Flint Hill in 2011 allowed her to develop a small fiber business from her flock of sheep and continue her lifelong addiction to horseback riding. In Rappahannock public schools, she has volunteered for the READ program and done some home instruction. When she isn't busy with her daughters and grandchildren, she enjoys reading, swimming, and working with her husband on their farm.
